Villa Remvi - Stylish villa with infinity pool and spectacular views

Villa Remvi has spectacular views looking out over Vliho Bay to the Ionian sea, the Islands of Scorpios and Meganissi and beyond to the mountains of mainland Greece. It has a hillside setting on the outskirts of a traditional village with 2 tavernas in walking distance and with a short drive to the beaches, villages and activities of the coast and island.

The villa is single storey with 3 bedrooms/bathrooms, sleeping 6 comfortably, and an open plan reception/dining/kitchen. The interior is light, stylish and comfortable.

Outside there is a large secluded paved area with spectacular views. The pool-side lounging space offers both shade and direct sun, with a traditional brick built barbecue and dining area to the side. There is a private infinity pool (8m x 4m, depth 1.6m) overlooking the Ionian sea and an outdoor shower. Off road parking is available for 4 cars.

Inside a large and bright lounge leads out via French doors to the patio, pool and views. There is modern comfortable seating for up to 6 people to lounge or enjoy your meals prepared in the adjacent fully equipped kitchen.

There are three bedrooms with air conditioning and each has its own shower room. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed with en-suite, terrace access to the pool side and panoramic views. Bedroom 2 has twin beds which can be pushed together or apart, with adjacent shower room/guest toilet and French doors to the exterior. Bedroom 3 is a larger room located in a separate building just a couple of metres from the main house. It has twin beds which can be pushed together or apart, en-suite shower and a secluded outside terrace & seating area with magnificent views across to the mountains. Its ideal for teenagers, grandparents or couples seeking privacy from the main house.​​

Linens and towels are provided. All windows have shutters for shade and privacy together with mosquito netting.

Villa Remvi is a short drive or walk along an unnamed but well-maintained track on the outskirts of Fterno, a picturesque traditional village with two family-run tavernas. Taverna Filippas will even supply you with fresh meat from their stock that graze nearby, and there are van deliveries of fresh produce and bread during the week. Explore the rustic walking and cycling tracks from the village and enjoy the breeze afforded by the elevated setting. A well-stocked modern supermarket is a short drive away on the road to the coastal village of Mikros Gailos, whilst the hamlets and beaches of Sivota, Vasiliki and Nidri are all within very easy reach. It’d be easy to spend your entire holiday at Remvi, but we believe a car is essential both in terms of transfer from/to the airport but also so that you can make the most of what this wonderful island of Lefkada has to offer.

Whether you’re looking for stunning beaches, dramatic mountain scenery, water sports, restaurants and bars or ancient Greek culture this area has it all. In fact there’s so much to do here that it can be challenging to fit it all into a single holiday - maybe that’s why so many visitors return year after year.
