Traditional stone house from 19 century
2 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, Sleeps 6, 70m², 6000m from the sea
The house which belonged to Bella's family, was built in 1914 and is an addition to an older house built around 1830. As time went by, the family welcomed new members and according to tradition, all members of the family lived under the same roof, grandparents, parents, and children. Around the house were stone benches where women would sit and do their embroidery, the ‘’ Karsanika Embroideries ” were part of a daughter’s dowry or were sold on the market thus contributing to the family income.
The house was tastefully renovated in 2021 to bring forth its distinct architectural aspects.
Shades of green, elements of stone, and wood are all features of the area’s traditional
architecture which blend through a contemporary viewpoint creating an essence of familiarity, a unique view where the old and new coexist in harmony.
Comfort and elegance were taken into consideration while renovating this place so that the visitor can enjoy a memorable vacation in a village with excellent weather close to nature. This two-floor accommodation consists of two bedrooms and an extra room with a sofa bed which becomes a bed large enough to sleep two children. It also has two toilets, one on each floor and a fully equipped kitchen.
There is a stone-paved patio with a barbecue built under a roof where the visitor can grill whatever s/he pleases. This area can be used for breakfast too.
